Registration for the Leadership Institute and the National Service-Learning Conference are NOT offered together. You must register for the Leadership Institute with Youth Service California and the National Service-Learning Conference SEPARATELY.

The 2010 Service-Learning Leadership Institute will be held in San Jose, California, as a pre-conference day on March 24, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. During this time, we will work together to collaborate, plan, and innovate in our quest to make high-quality service-learning a reality for every California youth. The Leadership Institute is being held in conjunction with the National Service-Learning Conference in order to maximize California's access to this excellent event as well as showcase our expertise in the field.
Highlights of the Leadership Institute:
We will hear about the national perspective for service-learning from Nelda Brown of the National Service-Learning Partnership.
CalServe Regional Leads and Partnerships will have the opportunity to learn about service-learning in the state, work regionally, and form stronger partnerships to achieve our goals.

The California Service-Learning Leadership Institute is hosted by Youth Service California in partnership with the California Department of Education, CalServe Initiative with funding from Learn and Serve America.

Registration Fee: $40 (includes light breakfast, buffet lunch, and break refreshments)

Registration for the Leadership Institute does not include a hotel reservation or registration for the National Service-Learning Conference.

Cancellation Policy:
Refunds will be charged a $15 administrative fee. No refunds after Feb. 26, 2010.
